Well, hello there! My name is Somer Weich, and over the past 20 years my job titles have included software engineer, programmer analyst, and web developer; however, I prefer to think of myself as a web developer with a sprinkle of user experience design. I love this new UX world and my favorite topics include information architecture and data visualization. I believe that you are never too old to learn something new; everything can be improved.
This website was written by hand, by me, in notepad, using only pure HTML/CSS/Javascript. No helpers, no themes, no plugins, no jquery packages, no bootstrap, no bloat. It is also responsive and mobile-friendly.
While I am not a visual/graphic designer, I can throw something together in a pinch, and I did design this portfolio website.
